SAPA continues to take steps to establish its testing and R&D center in the province of Jaén.

SAPA, a leading company in mobility systems technology with over 400 years of history, is proud to announce its incorporation into the Fundación Consejo España – EE.UU. in 2017. This collaboration reinforces SAPA’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations between Spain and the United States, in line with the Foundation’s objectives of fostering cooperation in economic, business, cultural, scientific, and educational fields.
Since its creation in 1997, the Fundación Consejo España – EE.UU. has worked to increase mutual knowledge and understanding between the two countries, closely collaborating with its counterpart, the United States Spain Council. This alliance has established itself as the leading entity for public diplomacy between Spain and the United States.
SAPA’s entry into the Foundation marks a milestone in our company’s history, allowing us to actively participate in initiatives that promote technological development, defense and security, as well as economic and cultural cooperation between Spain and the United States.
Jokin Aperribay, CEO of SAPA, and Joaquín Ortiz, SAPA’s Director of Strategy, jointly represent the company on the Foundation’s Board of Trustees, reaffirming our commitment to shared values and objectives.
With over 30 years of experience in designing and manufacturing high-efficiency transmissions, power generation and management systems, and software, SAPA brings its knowledge and expertise to this prestigious Foundation. Our investment in product technology and our R&D center of excellence underscore our dedication to innovation and the development of cutting-edge solutions.
