Europe is moving forward – and so are we!
We are excited to have kicked off the MARTE project under the European Defence Fund (EDF)!

Led by MARTE ARGE GbR, a joint venture of KNDS Deutschland and Rheinmetall (Rheinmetall Landsysteme), the project brings together 51 entities from 11 EU Member States plus Norway.

👉 Awarded with approximately €20 million in funding by the European Commission
👉 Backed by 11 Ministries of Defence, coordinated by the German MoD
👉 Aimed at designing the next-generation Main Battle Tank system for Europe
👉 Project successfully kicked off in Stockholm in December 2024

With MARTE, Europe takes a strategic step toward strengthening technological sovereignty, fostering cross-border collaboration, and driving defense innovation.
