In an event presided over by the Secretary of State for Defense, María Amparo Valcarce, the Ministry of Defense awarded TESS Defense the contract for the design and manufacture of the Tracked Support Vehicle (VAC) for the Army. This program will renew the fleet of TOA M-113 vehicles, providing a multipurpose tracked vehicle that improves versatility, protection, mobility, and firepower.
The VAC program, in addition to meeting the needs of the Spanish Army, will significantly impact the national defense industry, involving more than 400 national suppliers and strengthening Spanish production structures.
In this way, TESS Defense consolidates its position as a leading company in the industry, and its experience in the VCR8x8 program will enable the agile and effective implementation of the VAC, benefiting the national defense with mature and collaborative technical solutions.
