SAPA unveiled its new family of transmissions for tracked and wheeled armored vehicles at the Eurosatory 2024 trade fair, held from June 17 to 21. This event, which brings together key players in the defense and security industry, was the ideal platform to showcase SAPA’s latest technological developments to customers, industrial partners, and end-users.

In an interview, Ignacio Almaraz, Director of Business Development, highlighted the transmission designed for the Spanish Ministry of Defense’s VAC program, which has already been contracted in the United States. Additionally, the ACT1075 transmission, designed for combat vehicles weighing up to 70 tons, was presented. Both transmissions feature SAPA’s latest technology, developed to meet current and future customer requirements. This SAPA transmission family is the most modern within NATO, with remote driving capabilities, electric hybridization, and maximum efficiency in any environment.

In addition, SAPA presented the SW624 transmission, part of the powertrain of the Dragon 8×8 wheeled vehicle, which guarantees the best performance and enables the vehicles to achieve efficiency exceeding 90%, enabling increased weight and continued development.
