SAPA Advances in the Integration of its Powertrain into the Spanish 8×8 Wheeled Vehicle

SAPA, a mobility leader within the Spanish VCR 8×8 Program, began this week the integration of its powertrain into a Piranha 5 vehicle, which will be used as a test bed.
The company is participating in Eurosatory, where it is presenting its innovative solutions for the future of 8×8 wheeled vehicles in the Spanish pavilion.

SAPA is responsible for one of the five technology packages of the VCR 8×8 program, intended for the Spanish Army. Specifically, the company is responsible for the design of the powertrain, which includes the engine, transmission, auxiliary systems, high-power electrical generation, and the cooling system. This package is essential to ensuring maximum vehicle efficiency and performance.
