We present the Sapper Combat Vehicle (VCZ)

At SAPA, we celebrate the participation of our program manager, Susana Moreno, in the first episode of the series «Defense, Industry, and Society from a Feminine Perspective,» a project promoted by Infodefensa TV with the support of the Ministry of Defense and the Royal Academy of Engineering.

The series aims to highlight the work of women in the Armed Forces and the defense industry, promoting STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) vocations among young women across the country.

Susana Moreno represented SAPA in this program, sharing her personal experience as PMO manager for the VCR 8×8 Dragón program. Her experience in a sector like defense, and in particular, one with a highly technological focus, speaks positively to women’s ability to take leadership in STEM disciplines and serve as an encouraging example for other women. Her participation reaffirms SAPA’s commitment to promoting female talent in the defense industry, highlighting its role as a driver of technological innovation and industrial development in Spain.

«It’s an honor to be part of this initiative that highlights the work of women in a sector that is fundamental to the country’s security and technology,» commented Susana Moreno after her presentation.

The series will tour military installations and companies in the 17 autonomous communities, highlighting the impact of the defense industry on regional development and its projection as a technological benchmark. SAPA is proud to contribute to this mission, fostering young talent and promoting equal opportunities in a historically male-dominated field.
